With bitter, winter days ahead for most of us, the thought of braving the weather to get to the gym or go for a jog doesn’t sound very appealing. Maintaining the motivation to adhere to your weight loss goals when everyone else wants to hibernate is painless with self-hypnosis for weight loss.

Most people who are trying to lose weight agree that motivation is particularly difficult when the weather changes, so what if you could stay committed to your exercise plan and diet just by viewing a hypnotherapy weight loss DVD or listening to a CD? Better yet, a hypnotherapy weight loss program can reduce your compulsions too.

weight loss hypnosis CD

Self hypnosis for weight loss works simply, but effectively, by leading you to a deeply relaxed state during which your unconscious can more easily receive post-hypnotic suggestions, such as the ones that will keep you motivated to keep on your fitness track, even in the middle of winter.

It is a fact that if a person exercises, it will speed up his/her metabolism and increase the rate that weight is lost. Some of the most successful hypnotherapy for exercise motivation techniques comes from Neuro-Linguistic Programming, or NLP. With NLP, the unconscious is programmed to use the very same thought processes that are initiating a problem, to do away with it. In other words, the same thought processes that the unconscious utilizes to create cravings and oral compulsions could be used to completely stop them! And similarly, the same processes can be used to increase your motivation to exercise.

Anchoring is an NLP practice that can be used to give you a “switch” for sparking feelings and behaviors. Creating a hypnosis diet control anchor works simply and effectively like this: A qualified hypnotherapy weight loss professional will safely guide you into a tranquil hypnotic state. Then the hypnotherapist will ask you to recall a time when you were happy and excited about anything in your life.

The point of this exercise is to remember and re-experience as many sensations as you are able to from numerous times in your life when you felt motivated and eager to do anything you wanted. Then, the weight loss hypnosis therapist will ask you to anchor those feelings by simply touching two fingers together.

Next, you will be asked to visualize yourself working out and enjoying it. As you establish this mental image, you will trigger your anchor by touching those two fingers together again. When you do that, your unconscious will connect the feeling of eagerness and excitement from the other memory to the thought of exercising.

From this point on, whenever you need to feel motivated to exercise, you can simply trigger your anchor and re-experience those same positive feelings that will motivate you to workout. NLP and weight loss hypnosis can even be helpful to discourage behaviors, so you can easily overcome cravings. That sounds much easier and encouraging than beating yourself up for missing a workout or giving into temptation, doesn’t it?

A successful weight loss hypnosis program will also deal with the root cause of weight gain for many of us, namely a lack of self-esteem. In a relaxed state, you can accept post-hypnotic suggestions that will develop your self-esteem as you lose each pound. A self-esteem deficiency is a big factor in being overweight.

A lot of people wonder if, after attempting every new diet and buying every piece of exercise equipment on the market, something as straight forward as weight loss hypnosis can work for them. The good news is that research shows that all normal people are hypnotizable to a greater or lesser extent. However, it is important to note that people who have less than a 70 I.Q. or those who are in an active state of psychosis or with senility typically are not hypnotizable.

But for the rest of us, self hypnosis for weight loss can actually make us look forward to eating healthily and working out. That said, the main proponent for success in any fitness program, whether it embraces weight loss hypnosis or not, is wanting to achieve your weight loss goals.

On a related note, that is exactly why you can not force someone to undergo weight loss self hypnosis just by giving them suggestions. If someone is opposed to an idea, no amount of weight loss hypnosis they see or hear will take hold. Looking to the NLP explanation above, if someone does not have a memory of feeling motivated or positive, they can still experience success with NLP and hypnotherapy because they can visualize what it would feel like if they did feel that way, and anchor those imagined feelings.

So, if you are like many of us and find your drive dwindling as the temperatures drop and the days get darker, weight loss hypnosis can help regain (or maintain) your passion for carrying out and finally reaching your fitness aspirations.

By Mike Lang

For as long as I can remember my parents and teachers told me that I had so much potential that I should expect to achieve great things in my life and anything less should be unacceptable. While they were filling me with promises of a great life I always felt elated until the feeling wore off, replaced by those other inner voices that told me I wasn’t good enough and didn’t deserve those “great things.” It was almost as if I had a war going on inside my head and the “brass ring” was always just out of reach. This ongoing inner conflict has caused me great pain in my life and got to the point where I was reluctant to even try to better myself. So I began to settle for whatever cards I was dealt.

Self-Confidence

A close friend who had great success with a self-hypnosis program suggested that I give it a try. So after a brief online search I came across a program produced by Alan B. Densky, CH and his company Neuro-VISION. Mr. Densky had enough credentials to satisfy me, as he is a certified hypnotherapist and Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner who has treated over 10,000 clients face-to-face since 1978.

On his website he made the statement that, Ordering this program will make you will feel good about yourself in every situation, and fill you with a feeling of self-confidence and self-worth. For some reason that simple statement immediately clicked with me and the next thing I did was order Neuro-VISION’s Self-Confidence! Hypnosis program which consisted of 7 audio sessions on 2 CDs.

I must admit I was excited about the prospect of possibly feeling good about myself in every situation, but was a little skeptical after having wasted a lot of time and money on previous attempts to develop my self-esteem. When I received the program from Neuro-VISION, I wasted little time and read that the program is broken down into chapters, so that once I’ve gone through the educational portions of each session, it would be easy to jump directly to any hypnosis or NLP portion of any session. Sounded like a sensible approach, so I began.

The first CD began with Alan Densky introducing himself and describing the behavioral changes that were about to take place for me. He then discussed the various therapeutic approaches he used and how to achieve the best results while having realistic expectations. He also said that my daily rituals and the way I talk to myself would have a great effect on my confidence level.

Now it is not that I haven’t heard similar statements made before, however there was something different about the way things were explained in this program. Another reason why I think I was so receptive to the sessions was the way Alan Densky spoke in a very soothing but authoritative manner. It was actually pleasurable to listen to and I found myself looking forward to the next session.

It was kind of cool the way Densky introduced me to hypnosis, in the second session, utilizing an almost unnoticeable method that guided me into a deep state of relaxation. He then used, what he called, post hypnotic suggestions that were meant to eliminate stress and build a foundation of positive expectations for myself and the world around me

It was after the second session that I started to sense that something was happening within me and I was eager to continue. I also felt confident that I would complete the entire program, which I haven’t always done with others in the past.

CD Sessions 3 through 5 introduced me to things like NLP or Neuro-linguistic programming and Ericksonian Hypnotic Metaphors, which seemed intimidating at first. However, once again Densky simplified everything so that by the time the session was over I did not feel overwhelmed with the knowledge. He accomplished this by giving me simple and clear explanations of the techniques used in each session, so that it always made sense before I began the next hypnosis or NLP session. Very professional! Densky wrapped everything up very neatly in the last CD, Session 7, by explaining that it would not always be possible to have access to the CDs, so he taught me how to induce a hypnotic state using self-hypnosis, so I can relax and give myself post-hypnotic suggestions to make me feel confident anytime and anywhere.

Wow, what a blessing it’s been to find a program that actually took me step by step through a process and actually deliver on the promises made in its promotional literature. I am now more productive at work and unafraid to share my ideas with the boss. I am considerably bolder with the opposite sex as well, and am now looking to go back to school and explore a career change, which I have wanted to do for a long time.

Admittedly, I had come to believe that all of the self-help type products that were being promoted on TV and the Internet were pure hype and I had pretty much given up on them until I discovered Neuro-VISION’s Self-Confidence! Hypnosis Program. I am now looking to get another one of Neuro-VISION’s programs that deals with loosing weight and getting fit, which is another self-improvement thing on my agenda. I expect to have as much success with those programs as I’ve had with the Self-Confidence program. Thanks, Mr. Densky!

For the last several years, I’ve purchased every new piece of exercise equipment that came down the pike. Now I have enough equipment to furnish about two large gymnasiums. The problem is I just don’t have the motivation to exercise, so I don’t make the time for it. I knew that the benefits would be great, but making it a priority was hard for me, so I just don’t do it. Lack of exercise motivation was the only thing standing between a fit, toned body and me.

weight loss hypnosis CD

Given my poor track record with exercise, I was very excited when my boss recently asked me to review the exercise motivation hypnosis Program called “Urge To Exercise!” published by Neuro-VISION, Inc.. Initially I was quite skeptical, but Alan B. Densky, CH, the Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) expert who has many years of experience as a hypnotherapist, authored the program. He uses NLP and hypnosis motivation techniques that are supposed to give you a powerful urge to exercise.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with each session, or what was involved, but I was very pleasantly surprised. When I listened to the CD, I was instructed to either sit down in a comfortable recliner, or to lie on my bed. The sessions really brought a feeling of comfort and peace to my otherwise stressed out personality.

These are not sessions of someone with a shiny swinging object trying to hypnotize you. These sessions employ powerful NLP techniques that will impact your exercise motivation and start you in the right direction. The thought patterns that you learn at the unconscious level of mind will give you the urge to exercise, as well as a strong desire to exercise consistently. Maybe you need a little push to get going on your exercise routine; and this is just the program to help you increase your exercise motivation.

I’ve received incredible benefits from this program; I noticed immediate improvement in my level of motivation to exercise, as well as my urge to exercise consistently. All of the other priorities that I had previously put before exercise just do not seem to matter as much; my exercise motivation is now number one.

I feel better and look better and now I look forward to working out. My exercise motivation is very high, and I want to keep working out because it makes me feel good about myself. Thanks to my new level of physical activity, my metabolic rate has increased. I’ve been able to lose weight, and I feel great. I look forward to shopping for clothes, or going to the beach to show off the results of my work! I truly have an “Urge To Exercise!” and I give a thumbs up to this program.

Sleep is necessary for an individual’s body to function, mature, and heal itself after being injured. Most studies advise that adults require from six to eight hours of sleep every night. Many people, however, cannot accomplish this. Almost 20 million individuals who live in the United States alone experience significant struggles sleeping each night.

Numerous circumstances that result in sleeping problems are responsible for this startling statistic. For instance, a large number of persons snore. Deep snoring can actually cause sleepers to wake, surprised, by this noise. Additionally, people with a spouse that snores heavily sometimes have trouble sleeping with such a racket occurring in the same room!

Snoring can sometimes also be a symptom of a related sleeping problem known as sleep apnea. Sleep apnea occurs when an individual stops breathing during sleep. Sleep apnea may be from obstructions in the nasal and sinus passages, or from being overweight. This problem can be lethal, and persons who experience sleep apnea frequently wear a mask that delivers pressured air to their lungs when they are asleep.

Sleep apnea can result in narcolepsy, a different sleep problem. Often, however, persons who do not have sleep apnea may develop narcolepsy. Individuals who experience this condition frequently fall asleep unexpectedly and without any advance warning in whatever location they happen to be. If someone suffers from this problem, the doctor typically orders that individual to refrain from driving before the disorder is being treated effectively; sleeping while driving can be very dangerous!

Another potentially dangerous sleep problem is called sleepwalking, is often described referred to in medical literature as somnambulism. Persons who walk in their sleep perform the identical behaviors – eating, drinking, climbing stairs, et cetera – that they engage in while they are awake. Up to one-fifth of the population worldwide may walk in their sleep.

Sometimes, people have often documented cases of people who have driven or committed extreme crimes while sleepwalking! Most often, however, the individual who is asleep is in significantly greater peril than those witnessing the event. The ideal alternative is to get the individual to return to bed.

A condition called shift work sleep disorder is often seen in persons who work alternating shift schedules, afternoon, or night shifts. This condition can result in one of two forms of sleep disorders: extreme tiredness, or an inability to sleep. Additionally, persons who suffer from this problem face a greater likelihood of cancer than persons who do not experience it.

Persons with insomnia frequently have difficulty sleeping at night. If they are able to go to sleep, they typically do not sleep soundly and are awakened easily. They might only sleep for a short time before experiencing this condition.

The consequences of insomnia include daytime sleepiness and impaired physical coordination. Although individuals who suffer from insomnia may feel sleepy, however, those who suffer from chronic insomnia often learn that they are perpetually overly alert, and cannot easily relax or remain calm. Other possible side effects of insomnia include physical and emotional fatigue.

A large number of have ideas about how to cure insomnia. Some cures are some unusual home remedies for insomnia. One suggestion is a concoction of burnt cinnamon in hot water, although there is no solid evidence demonstrating that this concoction] is effective. Other home remedies for insomnia include taking melatonin, relaxing while playing slow music, and relaxation or meditation exercises.

Other insomnia cure strategies include Chinese medicine or acupuncture, and drinking wine at bedtime. Various herbal remedies have been used as strategies to cure insomnia, including passionflower, lavender, and lobelia. Some clients even opt for behavioral therapy approaches in hopes of finding a successful insomnia cure. A wider variety of medications are sometimes prescribed as sleeping aids.

An exciting new cure for insomnia is insomnia hypnosis, or insomnia hypnotherapy. Professionals who practice insomnia hypnosis assist clients to experience good sleep patterns by presenting a series of suggestions that will help them to fall asleep with less difficulty. Clients are taught the skills of self-hypnosis to successfully resolve this difficulty. This approach is a type of insomnia hypnotherapy that can be very effective with clients who are very suggestible, but is not as useful for persons who think analytically. A very similar method, called Neuro-Linguistic Programming, or NLP, is usually more helpful for these persons.

Such a large number of treatments for insomnia exist that this article is unable discuss them all. Professionals disagree about insomnia cures. The majority of people who have tried Neuro-Linguistic Programming and insomnia hypnotherapy, however, have described them as most effective in meeting their need for uninterrupted, restful sleep. These innovative and helpful strategies, in contrast to medicines or some other cures, does not have any hangover or adverse effects, and can be practiced nearly anywhere.

Summary: Nearly ten percent of the American population struggles with some type of sleeping dysfunction. Insomnia is a sleep problem that prevents persons from getting to sleep or sleeping soundly each night. Several treatment strategies have been developed to assist people effectively manage this problem. One of the most effective, as reported by people who have tried this treatment method, is hypnotherapy for insomnia.

It is now a fact that smoking harms nearly every organ of the body, causing many diseases and reducing the health of smokers in general. It is also a fact that quitting smoking has immediate as well as long term benefits. Smoking cigarettes with lower machine-measured yields of tar and nicotine provides no clear benefit to health. You should chose a Stop Smoking Program to be successful in this matter.

Neuro-VISION Weight Loss Hypnosis | Stop Smoking Hypnosis

Cigarette smoking causes lung cancer. In fact, smoking tobacco is the major risk factor for lung cancer. People who smoke are 10 to 20 times more likely to get lung cancer or die from lung cancer than people who do not smoke. The longer a person smokes and the more cigarettes smoked each day increases the risk for developing lung cancer.

People who quit smoking have a lower risk of lung cancer than if they had continued to smoke, but their risk is higher than people who never smoked.
Studies have shown that these five steps will help you quit and quit for good. You have the best chances of quitting if you use them together.

First, set a quit date and get rid of all cigarettes, ashtrays and lighters. Don´t let people smoke around you. When you quit, don´t smoke at all! Not one single puff or cigarette.

Second, get support from telling your family and friends. Tell your co-workers that you are going to quit and want their support. Ask them not to smoke around you or offer you cigarettes. Talk to your health care provider and get individual, group, or telephone counseling. The more help you have, the better your chances are of quitting.

Third, learn new skills and behaviors so you distract yourself from urges to smoke. Talk to someone, go for a walk, or get busy with a task. When you first try to quit, change your routines. Use a different route to work and drink tea instead of coffee. Eat breakfast in a different place. Drink a lot of water and other fluids.

Fourth, Medications can help you stop smoking and lessen the urge to smoke. The FDA  has approved six medications to help you quit smoking and a couple of them, like Nicotine gum, are available over-the-counter. Your health care provider can advice and you should also carefully read the information on the package. These medications will double your chances of quitting and quitting for good.

Fifth, You shall be prepared for relapse and difficult situations. Most relapses occur within the first three months after quitting. Don’t be discouraged if you start smoking again. Remember, most people try several times before they finally quit.

The following are some difficult situations you may encounter: Avoid drinking alcohol. Drinking lowers your chances of success. Being around smoking can make you want to smoke. Many smokers will gain some weight when they quit, usually less than 10 pounds. Eat a healthy diet and stay active.

Slim & Sexy!

By Mary Matson

I’ve had a weight problem for years, so when I got the assignment to review this hypnosis program I was very excited. After all, how many other jobs actually pay you to improve yourself?

My last experience with an Internet hypnosis program had been moderately successful. I started losing weight in the beginning, but I lost my motivation and ended up putting it all back on in the end. So I was wondering if this program would somehow be the magic elixir that would help me to lose my weight once and for all.

The program is a combination program which actually consists of four different programs, each with its own purpose. The hypnotherapist has bundled together all of the different programs that you’ll need to be successful and he’s reduced the price to make it more affordable for you.

The quick start instruction sheet that is included in the package gave me a schedule that clearly describes when to listen to each program.

Neuro-VISION Weight Loss Hypnosis | Stop Smoking Hypnosis

First Day: Listen to sessions one and two of the six session “Vaporize Your Appetite!” program. Session one gives a clear overview of how the program works, and what one must do to be successful. It’s like the consultation you would have with the hypnotherapist, Alan B. Densky, CH, if you actually visited his office and paid the $250.00 per session fee.

He clears up all of the common misconceptions about hypnosis, and explains what makes this program different from others on the market. While most hypnosis CD’s utilize what he called “Traditional Hypnosis” as the bulk of their program, this program only uses a small amount of Traditional Hypnosis, which is simply offering the client post-hypnotic suggestions. Mr. Densky explains that most people of our generation were raised and trained to analyze and question everything. And this creates a resistance to following simple post-hypnotic commands.

He explains that this program is based mainly on modern technologies that bypass this resistance. Ericksonian Hypnotherapy is a sort of conversational hypnosis that uses stories, conversation, and metaphors to hide the suggestions so that the conscious mind doesn’t create resistance to them. And Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), which is a technology that is based on training the unconscious to use the same exact thought patterns and processes that it uses to create a problem, like cravings and compulsions, to eliminate them.

Session two is the first induction of hypnosis. So I sat back in my chair and listened to Mr. Densky’s soothing voice, with some pleasant background music. It was very, very pleasant, and I sank down into the deepest state of relaxation that I can ever recall feeling.

Day Two: Watch the entire “Lose Weight In A Flash!” video. This video is about an hour long. And forty minutes of it is a real education that is presented in a very amusing fashion. I learned how our excess appetite is caused by two different factors. We crave food because of stress. Putting food into the mouth provides relaxation and pleasure.

And we also feel cravings because of unconscious associations called conditioned responses. For example, if you eat while you are working on your computer, your unconscious will associate the two activities together, and then every time you get in front of the computer, a picture of the food in your hand coming towards your face, flashes at the unconscious level of mind. It is that unconscious mental picture that makes you feel cravings, and a compulsion to eat.

Some people have a compulsion to eat because being overweight can provide emotional protection. But I’ll tell you more about that in a few minutes.

The last twenty minutes of the video is the magic elixir. It is not a video of a hypnotist hypnotizing you. It is a programming video. This is a great technology for those of us who have a poor imagination and have a problem visualizing. The video is really effective because it actually does the visualizing for you. You will see a series of scenes that are exactly what the hypnotist would ask you to visualize during a hypnosis session. The scenes are based on NLP patterns.

So for example, if one of your problems is that you’ve unconsciously associated food with watching the TV, what you would see in the video is a hand. You are told to imagine this is your hand. You see your hand coming towards your face (the screen) with food in it. Just as the food is about to go into your mouth, the picture slowly starts to zoom away. As the picture zooms away into the distance, several changes take place in that picture. Eventually the picture disappears, and a new picture starts to emerge from a tiny spot in the distance.

As the new picture gets closer and larger, you see a profile view of yourself, sitting and watching TV, without any food. And you see yourself with a thin and sexy body. The video process then repeats itself several times, each time zooming faster and faster. Within a few minutes, your unconscious mind has been programmed so that every time you sit down to watch TV, instead of it flashing a picture of food in your hand (which makes you feel cravings), it flashes a disassociated image of you, watching the TV without eating, and you have a slim body.

The video goes through a number of different common scenarios where people tend to associate food, but shouldn’t. It also uses the same technique to train your brain to have stressful thoughts automatically trigger thoughts that are supposed to relax you.

Later that evening when I sat down to watch TV, which is when I generally do a lot of snacking, I didn’t even have a single thought about food. It was interesting, because I wasn’t aware of anything in particular happening, but I just didn’t feel like eating at all, and it was wonderful.

Third Day: Listen to “Vaporize Your Appetite!” session three. I like the fact that Mr. Densky prefaces each session by telling you what he is going to do and how it’s going to work. This session uses an Ericksonian metaphor. Once again, I found myself in an even deeper state of tranquility, as I listened to an interesting story. The metaphor carries hidden messages that help you ignore the chaos in life and become a much more relaxed person overall. Somehow it also instructs your unconscious to diminish your appetite.

Fourth Day: Listen to “Vaporize Your Appetite!” session four. Putting something into your mouth relaxes you! Once again, in this session I felt myself enter a profound state of very deep hypnosis. The hypnotherapist uses this session to program your unconscious to substitute pleasant memories and fantasies in place of food and drink. This makes you feel the relaxation and pleasure that your mind and body is seeking without consuming food, so you lose your appetite to overeat.

Fifth Day: Listen to “Vaporize Your Appetite!” session five. This session utilizes deep hypnosis to program your unconscious to adopt new eating behaviors. Since powerful motivation is a key to success, programming for self-esteem to create that motivation is reinforced. You are instructed to watch only the appropriate mind programming sessions in the Neuro-VISION “Lose Weight In A Flash!” video. This takes about twenty minutes.

Sixth Day: Listen to “Vaporize Your Appetite!” session six. Long story short, you lose your cravings, urges, and appetite to overeat so you eat a lot less. You actually lose weight without the need for willpower!

At the end of the first week, I did find that I felt a lot better, and interestingly, I was sleeping a lot better. Food had become much less important to me. As a matter of fact, I just didn’t seem to think much about it anymore. I was thrilled because I had lost 5 lbs.

Twice per week from this point on: Watch only the appropriate mind programming sessions on the “Lose Weight In A Flash!” video. This takes about twenty minutes each time. As I watched the video, even though my eyes were wide open, I found myself entering a nice deep state of hypnosis and mellowing out.

After The Second Week: If you are finding excuses to NOT listen to and watch the programs, or you are finding excuses to NOT stick to proper foods, listen to the “Compulsive Over Eating” CD.

There I was at the beginning of week three, which is typically when I start to lose motivation. Sure enough, I was starting to find excuses to NOT listen to the hypnosis sessions or pay attention to what I was eating. I still didn’t have any real cravings for food, but it was as though some part of me was trying to make my weight loss program fail.

So per the quick start sheet, I got out the “Reframe Compulsive Overeating” CD. This is an interactive CD. You must take an active part in the use of this program. The CD shows you how to set up a channel of communication with your unconscious mind so it will send you signals, which either mean “yes” or “no” in answer to the questions that you ask it.

The instructions on the CD explain that being fat can provide all sorts of emotional protection. Like if somebody got their heart broken, becoming fat could keep them out of new relationships. Staying out of relationships will eliminate the pain and heartache of any more breakups.

Or being fat could keep a married person from fooling around on their partner, so their marriage would stay intact and the children wouldn’t have to suffer. It turns out that there are as many different benefits to being fat, as there are overweight people.

This program works by using a process called the NLP six-step reframe. Think about it. My unconscious makes me get fat to protect me from being hurt. The CD helped me negotiate with my unconscious and get it to assume the responsibility for motivating me to substitute some other behavior that is as effective and available at providing the emotional protection that I need. And the beauty is that the new behavior is more consciously acceptable to me than being fat is.

The bottom line is that this process works and my motivation to continue to do all of the things that help me to lose my appetite, and my weight has returned with a vengeance. So I was able to continue on with my regular schedule of listening to “Vaporize Your Appetite!” sessions and watching the programming sessions on the “Lose Weight In A Flash!” video.

After The Second Week: Start listening to the “Urge To Exercise!” CD. If you can get in more than one session of self-hypnosis daily, then use the “Urge To Exercise!” CD for one of those sessions. Exercise has never been a great interest of mine, but now that I was feeling more relaxed, and I was losing weight, I felt open to at least listening to this CD to see what would happen. The short version is that, as the title so aptly puts it, I did start to feel an urge to exercise. So I started a simple exercise program and found that now I actually do enjoy exercise and I even look forward to it!

Conclusion: Slim & Sexy! isn’t a crash diet program. It isn’t a diet program at all! It’s an appetite elimination program. And, it’s a motivation and self-esteem program. The program includes every session that you will need to build up your motivation, feel more relaxed and happy, and best of all, to lose your cravings, compulsions, and appetite to overeat.

If you enlist the help of any experienced hypnotherapist, you’ll pay $200.00 or more for a single session. And forget the fantasy of a one session cure and get real. Hypnotherapy is just that, therapy – NOT magic. Everyone will need multiple sessions, especially when you are dealing with a long term and complex issue like weight control. And that makes the moderate fee for this all inclusive program a real bargain.

In the end I lost 42 lbs. in three months. I never felt deprived or hungry or like I had to use willpower, and I’ve now been able to keep the weight off for over a year. If anyone wants to forget about food and permanently lose weight, I highly recommend the Slim & Sexy weight loss program.

Despite the popularity of the Atkins Diet, it is often greatly misrepresented! Popular, but slightly exaggerated depictions of the diet portray dieters devouring nothing but huge portions of meat and fat. Although the program is not quite this simple, many people under the plan have successfully lost weight and improved their health.

On this plan, dieters follow a highly specific regimen based on cutting carbohydrate intake. The nutritional aspects of the diet are emphasized over exercise and other factors, although getting physical activity is recommended. There are 4 phases to the Atkins diet:

Induction: For the duration of this two-week stage at the beginning of the diet program, dieters can only have up to 20 grams of carbohydrates each day. Dieters can ingest high protein foods such as meat and eggs, fats such as oils and butter, and other foods with little to no carbohydrates. Many foods containing carbohydrates are not allowed at all during this stage, including alcoholic drinks.

This early phase is intended to help the body go from burning carbohydrates for energy, as it usually does, into burning fat stored in the body (the state called ketosis). Most dieters begin to lose pounds during this stage.

Ongoing Weight Loss: During the Ongoing Weight Loss stage, dieters gradually increase their carbohydrate intake by adding 5 grams of carbohydrates into their diet each week. Dieters adjust their diet, losing weight to put themselves within 5-10 pounds of their target weight, before moving into the Pre-maintenance period.

Pre-maintenance: Dieters use the Pre-maintenance stage to find out the maximum amount of carbohydrates they can consume without gaining weight. During this stage, dieters add 10 grams of carbohydrates to their diet each week. Once dieters reach their target weight and can keep it stable for one month, they move into the Lifetime Maintenance stage.

Lifetime Maintenance: For lasting results, the Atkins program is designed to be maintained throughout the dieter’s lifetime. Using the techniques that helped the dieter reach their target weight, the dieter keeps up an eating and exercise plan to stay at their target weight. Individuals can revert to previous stages if they ever begin to regain weight.

Dieters who can stick to the Atkins diet are often successful in losing weight; unfortunately, many people cannot keep following the program and end up quitting early on in the induction stage. In general, most diet plans fail simply because dieters cannot stay on the plan.

Many people are unable to stay on diets because they experience strong food cravings, have problems with compulsive overeating, cannot regulate their appetites, or simply are not motivated to lose weight. Getting over these mental obstacles is the most challenging aspect of losing weight.

One reason why many people struggle to manage their eating is because they are emotional eaters. Such people eat in response to their emotions, such as when they are bored or upset. However, this practice programs a “conditioned response” into the unconscious mind. This means that when individuals experience the same feelings that made them overeat initially, they will feel compelled to overeat once again.

Hypnosis works by helping our unconscious minds disassociate our emotions from our eating habits. To eliminate the conditioned response to overeat, a hypnotherapy weight loss program is used to break the bond developed in the unconscious mind between overeating and specific “trigger” situations.

For example, if you tend to binge eat when you feel bored, hypnosis can disassociate boredom from eating in your unconscious mind. Hypnosis techniques can then be used to replace the compulsion to overeat with another activity, such as exercising. That way, the next time you become bored, instead of having an urge to eat, you will feel motivated to exercise, resulting in natural weight loss.

Hypnosis is a powerful tool for stress relief as well, helping us cope with our stressful feelings and relieve tension without eating. As a relaxation tool, it calms the mind, helps you develop positive strategies to manage stress, and boosts your self-confidence to motivate you to lose weight.

Self hypnosis can also be used to remove the emotional stressors that keep you from losing weight. Many overweight people hide behind their weight for emotional protection. For example, after a painful end to a relationship, people often find themselves becoming overweight so they can avoid relationships and avoid experiencing emotional pain again. Through hypnosis, we can think more positively and focus on having better health instead of becoming overwhelmed by our anxieties.

Not only is hypnosis an ideal motivational tool, it relieves tension, eliminates conditioned responses that trigger overeating, and can be used to overcome the mental obstacles that prevent weight loss. Hypnosis is very effective at helping people stay on a diet plan, such as the Atkins diet, and lose weight.
